I put my inner “info junkie” on a starvation diet (here’s why)

No clothes.

No light.

No sound.

Just me and 800 pounds of salt…

Dissolved into 10 inches of water at exactly 34.1 degrees celsius.

That’s how I spent my Saturday afternoon last weekend.

It’s called sensory deprivation.

Or “floating” to put it more pleasantly.

In any system, there’s a delicate balance between inputs and outputs.

Too much of either one for too long creates dysfunction.

So, just as your body can benefit from being temporarily deprived of stimuli…

… Your mind can too.

Q1 was a season of consumption for me.

I let my inner “info junkie” feast his greedy little heart out…

Buying courses, reading books, and watching YouTube videos…

Until his dopamine receptors were fit to burst.

But now I’ve put him on a starvation diet.

I’ve cut down on the podcasts I listen to…

The newsletters I read…

And the time I spend on social media.

It’s time to synthesize all that consumption into creation.

Releasing my new guide this week was the first step toward launching a brand new community & mentorship offer in Q2…

Where I’ll be helping a small group of people implement the approach I’m using to get 1-2 new clients per month…

Without cold DMs or sales calls.

It’s a big undertaking.

But as I’ve said before…

Being able to tackle big projects is table stakes if you want to create more freedom in your life.

Learn to control your inputs or they’ll control you.
