publishing my book on amazon next week (here’s why)

Heads up:

On Monday, my Email Storyselling Playbook will officially be available on Amazon in both Kindle and paperback.

I’m pretty excited about it.

It somehow feels a bit more real… even though I’ve already sold 500+ copies of the PDF over the past few months.

Now, one question I’ve been asked is…

***

“Why publish your book on Amazon at all? Aren’t you worried people who see your ads will buy there instead of from you directly?”

***

It’s a fair question.

So here’s my take:

I wrote the book to stand on its own.

Unlike a lot of other nonfiction books being sold through ads these days…

Mine is not a sales pitch in disguise.

It’s highly useful, actionable, and recommendable.

So while I’d prefer someone to buy through me directly…

I’m confident it will perform well on Amazon.

Will I be able to buy a penthouse condo with royalties from the book?

Not exactly lol

But it will give me some added credibility…

Lead more people to discover me and my work…

And ultimately fuel the positive feedback loop of social proof I’m already harnessing to attract even more pre-sold buyers into my world.

In other words:

I see it as a win-win.

Plus while the Kindle version will be discounted to $0.99 through launch week…

After that, it’ll go up to $9.98.

So it will be cheaper to buy it from me directly anyway.

That said:

I am gonna give the book a bit of push next week to try and get some juice from the almighty algorithm.

Part of this will come from running some Amazon ads…

But I also want to incentivize you to grab a copy…

Even if you’ve already got the PDF.

So here’s the deal:

Anyone who purchases a Kindle or paperback copy of the book on Amazon and forwards their receipt to [email protected] before 11:59 PM on February 17…

… will receive a special behind-the-scenes breakdown of the ads I’ve used to sell 500+ copies of my book.

Inside, I go through each one line-by-line + show you all the creatives I’ve been running.

If you’re curious to learn more about how to grow your list with buyers…

I think you’ll really enjoy this ;)

Stay tuned for more details on Monday…
