The “medicine cabinet” of a 6-figure solopreneur

In case you don’t know him:
David Goggins is a former Navy SEAL, ultramarathon runner, and motivational speaker.
He’s also maybe the most mentally strong person on Earth.
You see, despite once weighing over 300 pounds…
He’s run 60+ ultramarathons, some of which were over 200 miles long…
And at one point, he held a Guinness World Record for doing 4,030 pull-ups in less than 24 hours.
Now, the guy swears like an angry sailor who just stubbed his toe…
So his content is not for everyone.
But in a recent interview…
He and Andrew Huberman discussed a concept that really hit home for me:
It’s called the “medicine cabinet.”
The idea being that we all tend to reach for things when we’re not feeling 100%...
- Aspirin
- Tylenol
- Caffeine
- Pre-workout
- Etc etc
These are crutches…
Designed to help get us over hump and do the hard stuff we know we need to do.
But David’s point was:
We all need to develop our own internal “medicine cabinet.”
If you want to not only survive, but thrive in tough situations…
Then you need to be able to reach inside and flip the switch without any outside crutches.
I love that concept.
Because it also applies to cultivating the right skills in business…
Such as:
- Content writing
- Copywriting
- Sales
If you’ve got those 3 things in your medicine cabinet…
You’ll never struggle to get more clients & customers when you need them.
In fact, that’s all you need to hit 6 figures.
Now, if you need help with sales, I’m not your person.
But one of my favorite ways to combine content writing & copywriting is with personality-driven emails.
That’s because they sell without being pushy or sleazy…
And they’re useful whether someone buys or not.
So you’ve got the perfect blend of relationship building and revenue generation…
Plus they’re fun as hell to write :)
That’s why I’ve written well over 1,000 of them for myself and for clients in the last 8 years.
Better still, when you’ve got my proven 4-step system…
You can write them in as little as 15 minutes.
Anyway, if your writing skills need a shot in the arm…
