my new book sold 53 copies (here’s how I wrote it)

I wrapped up the launch of my Email Storyselling Playbook on Monday.

My target was to sell 50 copies and I ended up selling a total of 53.

So I’m quite pleased.

(Many thanks if you grabbed yourself a copy 🙏)

In fact, I’ve already received some good feedback on it:

Now, what’s cool about this little experiment is…

How I actually wrote the book in the first place.

You see, I didn’t start from scratch.

Instead, the transcripts from my recent Email Storyselling Crash Course became the molten core of the Playbook.

From there, I made some edits, added some new material, cleaned up the formatting…

And voila:

Out came a 66-page book ready to sell.

No writing retreats, tobacco pipes, or existential dread necessary.

Why is this important?

Because creative efficiency is the name of the game for anyone selling information in 2024.

Different people consume info in different ways.

And with the litany of AI tools at your disposal these days…

There’s no reason your video or audio content can’t be quickly converted to text.

And vice versa.

More importantly:

You should be testing the same concepts in multiple formats to see which one resonates most.

Case in point:

Many of the people who purchased the Playbook had never bought anything from me before.

Now they’ll get a chance to experience the quality of my (paid) work…

And be more likely to buy something else from me down the line.

This is how you cultivate an audience of buyers.

Something you’ll need if you want to achieve Newsletter Freedom.
