moving big rocks

For those who don’t know:
I recently published my book on Amazon in both Kindle and paperback.
And, in a shocking twist:
Doing so sucked up a heckuva lot more time and energy than I anticipated 🫠
Lol.
So I was glad to put it behind me and make space for other things.
Yet when I went to clear out the project in Asana the other day, this unexpected notification stopped me dead in my tracks:
In case the image isn’t loading…
It says there were a total of 404 completed tasks logged under this project.
HOLY CRAP!
That’s a mind boggling amount, even for me.
I don’t recall creating that many tasks… let alone completing them.
But somehow, I did.
Which solidifies an important takeaway:
Moving the big rocks in your business requires many, many micro efforts.
You’ve gotta be able to break things down into digestible bites…
And to focus on ONE thing at a time.
A feat harder than ever as the many bids on our attention become even more sophisticated…
And seem to be multiplying like jackrabbits hopped up on espresso.
So whether it’s launching a new offer…
Getting your acquisition funnel up and running…
Or ramping up your cadence from weekly to daily…
Remember to take things one bite at a time.
This is the only way to get the important stuff in your business done.
