Do THIS to instantly make your offer easier to say ‘yes’ to

I stopped reading nonfiction books last year

Told myself I was too busy.

That didn’t stop my stockpile of unread books from spontaneously expanding though…

(maybe you can relate? lol)

So this year, I got back on the horse.

My commitment:

Reading at least 10 minutes a day from Monday to Friday.

That’s it.

The result?

I’ve already read 9 books so far this year.

NINE BOOKS!

Now, to be fair — some of them are short.

But still…

It’s left me kicking myself for letting an entire year go by without reading any.

Because carving out 10 minutes a day is easy.

And yet, what often ends up happening is…

I get into something and read for much more than 10 minutes.

Hence the 9 finished books.

Now, this isn’t meant as a reminder to read more nonfiction…

(although feel free to receive it as such)

Instead, it’s a lesson on the importance of “chunking down.”

Here’s why:

One key objection to any offer is…

“How much time is this gonna take me?”

Because everyone is busy these days.

So the simplest way to overcome this is by “chunking down” into the smallest possible time commitment on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

In my case, 10 minutes a day.

This shrinks the psychological “weight” of the commitment…

Thereby making it much easier to say yes.

Not to mention stick to.

So keep this in mind when marketing or selling something.

Happy Friday ✌️

P.S:

Another priority for me this year has been learning to use Notion.

So I used it to build a book tracker.

It’s been a great way to establish accountability + keep my notes organized:

Pretty cool, right?

If you’re interested in creating your own, this is how I set mine up.

FYI - that video is not a step-by-step tutorial.

But I was able to reverse engineer it with some pretty rudimentary Notion skills.
